Direct Access to Physical Therapy

Missourians now have direct access to physical therapy service authorized under Senate Bill 51, signed by Governor Mike Parson in 2023 and which became effective in August 2023. This legislation allows patients to choose their care path, enabling them to receive care sooner, and bypassing traditional bottlenecks.
